Instead of going into storage, a selection of set pieces and maquettes were presented to us to display to the public. With Frankenweenie set for release a year out we crafted a exhibition experience designed to easily travel the world leading up to the films primer.

We designed the exhibition with Tim Burton's personal process in mind. In order to convey the messy, loose conceptual thinking we recreated his studio desk complete with half constructed models and concept sketches.

The rest of the exhibit consisted largely of reconstructed scenes housed in custom interactive display cases - all of which were modularly designed to a single freight shipping container.
Modular exhibition with internal and external experience.
Half built maquettes and concept sketches lead the way to fully reconstructed scenes.
Hidden camera in classroom takes a photo as the viewer peers into the window.
The photo is then available for download via a touch screen on the adjacent side.
Power level switches allow the viewer to partake in bringing Sparky to life.
