Instead of being placed in storage, a selection of Frankenweenie set pieces and maquettes were given new life in a traveling exhibition designed to engage the public. With the film’s release still a year away, we crafted an experience that could easily tour the world, building anticipation leading up to the premiere.
Designed with Tim Burton’s creative process in mind, the exhibition recreated his studio desk—complete with half-constructed models and concept sketches—to capture his raw, conceptual approach. The rest of the exhibit featured reconstructed scenes housed in custom interactive display cases, all modularly designed to fit within a single freight shipping container, ensuring seamless global transport.

Modular exhibition with internal and external experience.

Half built maquettes and concept sketches lead the way to fully reconstructed scenes.
